User Data Deletion Request

Overview

In accordance with Facebook Developer Policy requirements, we provide users with a way to delete data that was authorized to our application when they logged in through Facebook.

Data Deletion Process

How to Request Deletion of Your Data

Users can request deletion of their data through the following methods:

  1. Through In-App Settings

    • Log into our application
    • Navigate to “Account Settings” or “Privacy Settings”
    • Select “Delete Account and Data” option
    • Confirm your deletion request

  2. Via Email Request

    • Send an email to: support@edensign.io
    • Email subject: Data Deletion Request
    • Please include your Facebook User ID or registered email address in the email

  3. Through Online Form

    • Visit our data deletion request page
    • Fill in the required information for identity verification
    • Submit your deletion request

Types of Data We Collect

Through Facebook OAuth, we may collect the following information:

  • Facebook User ID
  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile picture
  • Public profile information

Scope of Data Deletion

When you request data deletion, we will delete:

  • Your personal profile information
  • Login records
  • Application usage data
  • All user-generated content associated with your account

Processing Time

  • Data deletion requests will be processed within 7 business days
  • You will receive a confirmation email notification when deletion is complete
  • Some backup data may require an additional 30 days to be completely purged

Data Retention Exceptions

In the following circumstances, certain data may need to be retained:

  • Legal and regulatory requirements
  • Fraud prevention and abuse detection
  • Financial records (if applicable)
  • Security logs (anonymized)
