why agents switch
What Collov customers run into after the first month
Here are the four things that come up once you're past the first month and trying to use multi-view, cancel, or wire it into a pipeline.
AI multi-view is actually 3 humans + 3 days
Collov labels multi-angle staging 'Human-Assisted' on the Premium tier ($79/mo). The fine print: a person matches the views by hand at 20 credits per image with a roughly 3-day turnaround. The multi-view experience most agents need from an AI tool isn't where Collov's AI is actually doing the work.
To cancel, you have to schedule a video call
There's no self-serve cancel button. SourceForge reviews (June 2025) document the path: a scheduled video call to cancel, the call "mysteriously disconnects" mid-conversation, then refund requests come back "so could not be refunded, thanks". Edensign cancels self-serve from your dashboard.
Credits expire monthly
Collov's credits reset every month. Quiet month? You still paid. The Standard plan's 60 credits are use-it-or-lose-it; unused photos do not roll over to the next billing cycle.
API gated to Enterprise
If you want to wire staging into your MLS pipeline or brokerage tooling, Collov's API only unlocks on the Enterprise tier ($127/mo or $1,524/yr). Smaller teams have to upload one photo at a time.

why we built edensign
AI staging shouldn't gate the basics behind a $127 plan.
We built Edensign because the AI-staging category had drifted into tier hell — pure AI on the cheap plan, 'human-assisted' on the next, API only at the top, day-to-dusk one tier higher than that. Every line on the pricing page is a small obstacle between you and a finished listing.
Our model trained on 2.4 million professionally-styled interiors and runs on NVIDIA H100s (we're an Inception partner). A fresh stage takes the same fifteen seconds whether you upload one photo or two hundred — no credit pools, no monthly resets, no Premium-tier-only multi-angle.
If you've been bouncing between AI staging tools trying to find the one that doesn't punish you for being a small team — no credit pools, no monthly resets, no Premium-tier-only multi-angle — this page is for you.
Switching from Collov AI — your questions, answered
Edensign includes AI multi-view on every plan and day-to-dusk on Professional and above — no Premium-tier upgrade, no human-assisted 3-day turnaround. API access is on our Enterprise plan rather than gated the way Collov puts it on their $127/mo Enterprise tier. Credits roll over for the billing cycle instead of resetting and forfeiting each month.
2 free credits on signup, no credit card required. That covers two standard stages or one multi-view render. Stage one of your own empty rooms and decide for yourself whether the output works for your listings.
Day-to-dusk / twilight is included on Edensign Professional ($59/mo) and above. We keep the toolchain tight around the staging workflow agents use most — staging and decluttering on every plan — rather than spreading across a broad photo-editing utility set.
Yes, we'd recommend it. Most agents we talk to run both for a billing cycle while they switch workflows. Collov credits reset monthly anyway, so use them for current listings and start staging new shoots in Edensign.
Multiple users have written it up on SourceForge and Reddit through 2025: cancellation requires a scheduled video call, and at least one account documented the call disconnecting mid-conversation followed by refund requests being denied. We can't confirm whether it's still the only path today — but for what it's worth, Edensign cancels self-serve from your account settings.
Yes — the Enterprise plan exposes REST + webhooks for virtual staging, decluttering, and furniture-editing endpoints, plus workflow integration. Email enterprise@edensign.io for pricing and access.
VirtualStagingAI is another pure-AI peer with a $468 yearly auto-renewal pattern and multi-view as a v2 API beta (see /alternatives/virtualstagingai). Spacely AI retired its 'unlimited' plan in September 2025 (see /alternatives/spacely). HomeDesigns AI has long-running G2 double-billing complaints (see /alternatives/homedesigns). REimagine Home is Styldod's self-serve AI sibling with batch only at $99/mo Agency (see /alternatives/reimagine-home). PhotoUp bundles AI staging into a full marketing platform (see /alternatives/photoup). BoxBrownie is human-edited 24–48h $24/photo (see /alternatives/boxbrownie). Styldod is human-edited expert services at $16–$23/image (see /alternatives/styldod). ApplyDesign pairs auto-staging with a drag-and-drop editor at $7–$15/image and 9–15 min turnaround (see /alternatives/applydesign). roOomy is a human-designer service known for Matterport 3D tour staging — $49–$69/photo, 24–48h turnaround (see /alternatives/rooomy). Stuccco is a human-staging service that uses real retail furniture and offers an interior-design bridge — $27–$45/photo, 12–24h (see /alternatives/stuccco). The /alternative hub has the full set.
Two free credits. Multi-view included. Decide for yourself.
No credit card. No commitment. Upload one of the empty rooms you'd otherwise be sending to Collov tonight, and see the staged version before your coffee cools.
