why agents switch
What Styldod customers tell us they're stuck on
Four sticking points come up over and over with the listing teams we talk to.
The wait kills momentum
Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours. Want it faster? It's $6/image for 24-hour rapid, $12/image for 12-hour super-rapid. A listing has to go live the day it's photographed — overnight (or two) costs you the first-day MLS visibility surge.
Per-image prices add up
Styldod's standard rate is $23 per image; bulk drops to $16 (8+ images). A 12-photo listing runs $192–$276. Across a dozen listings a month your staging budget eats your commission — even before rush fees.
Speed costs extra
Rapid delivery is a paid add-on, not a default. If you need a same-day turnaround on a listing, you're paying $28–$35 per image (standard + super-rapid). On Edensign, every photo finishes in 15 seconds, included.
You're paying for a product range you may not need
Styldod sells compliance automation, budget guardrails, real-product integration, floorplans, 360° tours, and audit logs alongside staging. That whole product range is overhead for a listing agent who just needs a finished MLS photo.

why we built edensign
Listing photos shouldn't take longer than the inspection.
In 2024, our founder spent $4,800 staging photos for fourteen listings — more than he'd paid the photographer who actually took them. The staging took longer to come back than the inspections did.
We started Edensign at the Harvard Innovation Labs to fix exactly that. Our model is trained on 2.4 million professionally-styled interiors. It runs on NVIDIA H100s (we're an Inception partner), and a fresh stage takes the same fifteen seconds whether you upload one photo or two hundred.
Tools like Styldod build out a whole operational layer — compliance automation, real-product budgets, audit logs. We don't try to be that. We try to make sure the photo that lands on Zillow at 9am is the staged one — not the empty one your buyer saw three days earlier.
Switching from Styldod — your questions, answered
Apples to apples: Styldod's standard virtual stage is $23 per image ($16 in bulk of 8+), with rush fees of $6–$12 on top. Edensign's Premium annual tier is $0.78/photo, or $1.93/photo on the month-to-month Starter plan. Even on Starter you're paying ~8–12× less per stage. Declutter, multi-view, Restage, and renovation previews are included on every plan; day-to-dusk and exterior staging are bundled on Professional ($59/mo) and Premium.
On standard listing photos — empty rooms, well-lit interiors, normal angles — our AI output reads as fully-staged, listing-grade work, and it lands in 15 seconds instead of 24–48 hours. That covers the vast majority of what listing agents shoot day to day.
Edensign is staging-focused: compliance automation and structured audit logs aren't in scope for us. If staging is the thing you need from a vendor — fast, listing-grade photos at a per-photo price that doesn't eat your commission — Edensign's the cleaner fit.
Yes, we'd recommend it. Most agents we talk to run both for a billing cycle while they switch workflows. Use Styldod's expert services on listings already in flight; start staging new shoots in Edensign and see how the speed and price difference plays out across a full month.
2 free credits on signup, no credit card required. That covers two standard stages or one multi-view render — enough to evaluate the output on a real listing photo.
Not currently. Edensign is focused on listing-photo staging; floorplans and 360° tours aren't in scope today. We have 360 staging in evaluation on the roadmap, but no shipped support yet.
Yes — REimagine Home is Styldod's self-serve AI product, separate from Styldod's main human-edited expert services. If you're specifically evaluating their AI product (not the human-edited service), see our /alternatives/reimagine-home page instead. This Styldod page focuses on the human-edited expert offering and where Edensign fits against it.
BoxBrownie is the closest analogue to Styldod — human-edited, 24–48h, $24/photo (see /alternatives/boxbrownie). REimagine Home is Styldod's own self-serve AI product with batch only at the $99/mo Agency tier (see /alternatives/reimagine-home). VirtualStagingAI is the closest pure-AI peer to Edensign — multi-view is a beta footnote in their own v2 API docs (see /alternatives/virtualstagingai). Collov AI requires a video call to cancel (see /alternatives/collov). ApplyDesign pairs auto-staging with a drag-and-drop catalog at $7–$15 per image (see /alternatives/applydesign). Spacely AI retired its 'unlimited' plan in September 2025 (see /alternatives/spacely). HomeDesigns AI has long-running double-billing complaints (see /alternatives/homedesigns). PhotoUp bundles AI staging into a full marketing platform (see /alternatives/photoup). roOomy is another human-designer service, best known for the only Matterport 3D tour staging in the category — $49–$69/photo, 24–48h (see /alternatives/rooomy). Stuccco is a human-staging service that uses real retail furniture and offers an interior-design bridge — $27–$45/photo, 12–24h (see /alternatives/stuccco). The /alternative hub has the full set.
Two free credits. Fifteen seconds each. Decide for yourself.
No credit card. No commitment. Upload one of the empty rooms you'd otherwise be sending to Styldod tonight, and see the staged version before your coffee cools.
